HYANNIS, MA – Presenter proposals are now being accepted for Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Island’s 23rd annual Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis.
Each year 500 professionals from non-profit organizations on Cape Cod and the Islands, their volunteers and board members, as well as professional advisors such as attorneys, estate planners, financial advisors and accountants attend the event to share current best practices in fundraising and celebrate charitable giving in the spirit of philanthropy on Cape Cod and the Islands.
This year’s Keynote Speaker is Dan Pallotta, activist, humanitarian, author, and builder of movements. Pallotta is a pioneer in the national effort to transform the way our culture evaluates the character and impact of nonprofit organizations.
The planning committee is currently requesting proposals from presenters who are interested in providing workshop sessions from the following topic headings as they relate to fundraising:
- Annual Fund: Middle Donors
- Board of Directors: Aligning Finances & Fundraising Budget
- Capacity Building
- Communications and Marketing
- Corporate Sponsorship
- Data: Donor Database Systems & Management; How to Use Data Effectively to Support Fundraising
- Grants and Foundations
- Organizational Relevance: Mergers and Partnerships
- Major Gifts: Donor Cultivation Techniques
- Special Events
Presenter proposals are due by May 30.
Philanthropy Day Cape Cod is the premier program of Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands whose mission is to encourage charitable giving, promote cooperation, and foster a better understanding among professional charitable giving planners, and also to further the education of its members, the professional community, and the general field of charitable giving.
