The 5th Annual Cape Coastal Conference is scheduled for December and 6 at the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis, 35 Scudder Avenue.

Hosted and coordinated by the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, the two-day conference groups sessions under three resiliency-focused themes: Prepare, Adapt and Restore.

The Cape Cod Commission is once again a planning partner for the conference. Commission staff will help lead off the conference with an overview of the ongoing Resilient Cape Cod Project, which kicks off its stakeholder outreach the following week.

Other presentations include “What Sandy Taught New Jersey and Transferable   Lessons for Cape Cod,” “Restoring Water Quality Through Improved Stormwater Management” and “Managing Cyanobacteria In Our Ponds.”

There is no cost to attend. Please register by December 1.
