BayCoast Bank announces that Amy M. Hernandez of Providence, R.I., has been named branch manager of the new Providence location slated to open in early 2021.
In this role, she will be responsible for the administration and efficient operation of the branch, including customer relationship and staff development, lending, operations and security.
Hernandez brings more than 25 years of banking experience to her post, starting her career as a teller in the former Bank of Boston Community Banking. Most recently she was a vice president, branch manager with Wells Fargo Bank in Florida.
She is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management at Broward College.
Hernandez, who is fluent in English and Spanish, is a strong advocate of community involvement and participates with numerous non-profit organizations including the March of Dimes and the United Way.
