BayCoast Bank announces the promotion of Jamie Medeiros to contact center officer at the recently opened customer support center.
In this role, she will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Contact Center, which was launched in response to an increased demand for telephone support.
Medeiros began her career with BayCoast Bank in 2006, starting as a part-time teller and rising up the ranks to senior teller, supervisor and subsequently as assistant manager of the Seekonk branch. She was named contact center assistant manager in October 2020 before this most recent promotion.
A resident of Fall River, Medeiros is a SMILES program mentor, assisting children with activities designed to improve their literacy skills.
The Contact Center incorporates BayCoast Bank’s customer centric culture with recent technological advances. Customers calling into the center now have 15 staff members representing various departments at their disposal to answer questions. This transition is seamless for customers who continue to dial the same number as in the past.
The Contact Center was established to provide customers with appropriate solutions with just one phone call, an objective that has been amplified due to social distancing.
