BayCoast Bank announces the promotion of John P. Ficalora of West Islip, N.Y., to vice president, Merchant Program.
In this role, Ficalora, whose previous title was assistant vice president, is involved with various aspects of the bank’s Independent Sales Organization, Sponsorship/Merchant Acquiring Program, with the primary responsibility of managing all associated risks, including daily exception processes and scheduled periodic reviews of high-risk merchants.
Ficalora joined BayCoast Bank in May 2017. His previous industry experience, dating back to 1998, includes roles as vice president, Global Risk Management with Bank of America Merchant Services; vice president, Merchant Services with Merrick Bank; and director of Credit Risk with First Data.
He is a graduate of Farmingdale State University in New York with a bachelor of science in Business Management.
