(SOUTH YARMOUTH, MA) – Blue Rock Golf Course in South Yarmouth is excited to announce the appointment of Sue Calabro, a well-respected Golf Pro in the region and a top golf instructor, as its new Head Golf Professional.
Sue began her career in the golf industry at Pine Brook Country Club in Weston where she spent five years as a member of the Ladies Professional Golf Association.
In 1996, she became the Assistant Golf Professional at the Plymouth Country Club and assumed the role of golf instructor for all clinics and individual lessons for the next 12 years, while also overseeing merchandising for the Golf Shop.
Sue expanded her already strong teaching credentials in 2017 when she established her own teaching academy at Atlantic Country Club in Plymouth, teaching individual golf lessons and holding clinics for the Town of Plymouth Recreation Department.
The Bay Pointe Club in Onset was where she moved into the top position as Head Golf Professional in 2020, growing the ladies league by 60%, while offering clinics and individual lessons.

Calabro takes over for PGA Pro Jim Campbell, who recently took a Head Pro position in Tarpon Springs, Florida, where he is continuing the next phase of his golfing career.
