DESCRIPTION:Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands (PPCI) invites you to join us in-person at noon on Thursday\, April 9th\, 2026 at Alberto’s Ristorante in Hyannis with guest speakers Claudia Bender\, Vice President & Relationship Manager\, and Vice President\, Portfolio Manager\, of Rockland Trust\, presenting: \nInvestment Committee and Endowment Management Best Practices\nThis session is designed to review investment committee and endowment best practices for executives\, board members\, and investment/finance committee members. Rockland Trust will discuss the importance of establishing an investment committee with members whose interests align with the organization’s mission statement and with the skill set to provide effective oversight. We will review the importance of an investment policy statement & spending policy\, the recommended oversight of the investment manager\, and the fiduciary responsibilities an organization has to its historical and future donors. \nThis event is FREE to attend with advance registration for current PPCI members; and $45 per person for guests/non-members. Lunch is included and a selection of beverages will be available for purchase. Space is limited!
