Their free support services bring hope and healing to those in need. Co-Founders Denise and Ken Brack opened Hope Floats in 2009 as a resource center for grieving families on the South Shore and Southeastern Massachusetts in memory of their son Michael. Hope Floats offered over 30 free adult grief support groups over the past year as well as their Mike’s Club programs for children ages 5-18 years old who have lost a parent\, caregiver\, or sibling. Their Weaving Hope program that brings grief support to local school systems was launched in 2023.
