Cape Cod Child Development Seeks New Executive Director

Hyannis MA, October 18: Cape Cod Child Development Program, (CCCDP) the largest provider of quality childcare, early education, developmental intervention and family support programs on Cape Cod, the Islands and Wareham, has begun a quest to find an exceptional and experienced Executive Director to lead the 47-year-old community
organization into the future. “We are looking for a mission driven visionary who is a team builder and passionate
about delivering upon our quality standards driven by our programs for children and families on Cape Cod and the Islands,” says CCCDP Board President, Sheryl Walsh. “This is a unique opportunity for a strong leader who is ready for a significant challenge and the reward of making a real difference in the lives of our most vulnerable population.”
In addition to Walsh who is also a Senior Vice President at the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod, the newly formed search committee is comprised of community leaders with broad backgrounds and networks: Steve Abbott (community member and retired CEO of Cape Cod Healthcare), Stephanie Abdina (CCCDP board member and policy committee chair), Dave Chase (CCCDP board, search committee chair and local and national businessman),
Sally Fogerty (CCCDP board member, retired state official with years of experience in child and family services), Mary Pat Messmer (community member and retired CEO of Cape Cod Child Development), and Paul Niedzwiecki (CCCDP board member and public economic development executive director, former Executive Director of the Cape
Cod Commission).
