Cape Cod Community Media Center Announces Rebranding

The public access TV station Cape Cod Community Media Center has unveiled a new name and logo as part of a rebranding initiative.

The station, which serves the towns of Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich and Chatham, has served the community for more than 30 years. The new name, Cape Media Center, and accompanying logo was launched Oct. 20,  on Community Media Day, an annual celebration that brings awareness to the importance of free speech and accessible media for all individuals.

In 2019, as part of a strategic planning process by its board and staff, it was determined that a new shorter name and updated imagery would help with organizational identification. The rebranding followed the introduction of new programs, such as podcast production, digital audio workshops and an advanced filmmaking course.

“We know the punchy, Cape Media moniker and the clean, solid graphic will be more easily recognized and identifiable in the marketplace,” said Executive Director/CEO Terry Duenas.
