HYANNIS, Mass., August 21, 2024 – The Cape Cod Gateway Airport Commission, in conjunction with airport management, will hold a series of four meetings to discuss the airport’s long term strategic planning initiatives. The MVP (Mission, Vision, Philosophy) Strategic Planning Model will be used as a framework to develop a blueprint for future airport operations and enhancements.
“As Cape Cod Gateway Airport begins development of a long-term strategic plan, commission members and management believe the involvement of a broad representation from the airport’s neighboring communities and the region it serves will provide the most comprehensive and desired outcome,” said Cape Cod Gateway Airport Manager Katie Servis. “We look forward to collaborating with community members to develop a strategic plan that incorporates stakeholder input.”
Participation involves attending a series of meetings over the course of four weeks. Each meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will be broken down into the following sessions:
- Session 1: Training on the MVP Strategic Planning Model (Monday, August 26)
- Session 2: Development of statements of Mission, Vision, and Philosophy (Monday, September 9)
- Session 3: Development of Goals and Objectives (Monday, September 23)
- Session 4: Final review of the Airport MVP Strategic Plan (Date TBD)
All meetings will be held from 5-7 p.m. in the Cape Cod Gateway Airport Terminal, Gate 1, 1st Floor,480 Barnstable Rd, Hyannis, MA 0260.
