West Yarmouth, MA – Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP) – a nonprofit that works to connect,
engage, and advance Cape Cod’s young workforce and future leaders – will host its 13th Annual
Community Breakfast event on Wednesday, November 14, 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Wequassett
Resort & Golf Club (2173 MA-28, Harwich), a first-time venue for this annual event. CCYP welcomes
supporters of all ages and industries, both members and non-members, to attend. The Community
Breakfast is presented with generous sponsorship support from Cape Cod Five.
CCYP is pleased to present a special Guest Speaker for this year’s Community Breakfast, Artistic
Director & Conductor for the Cape Symphony, Jung-Ho Pak. During his presentation, Jung-Ho will
speak about one of the key pillars of CCYP’s work – connection – and its importance for the future of
the Cape community. The mission of CCYP resonates deeply with Jung-Ho, who joined the Cape
Symphony in 2007. He explains, “I believe that as an artist, I have a responsibility to encourage
humanity in our society. It’s not just about presenting Beethoven and Mozart; it’s about helping people
connect with who they are and with each other.”
The 13th Annual Community Breakfast will also feature recognition of CCYP’s 2018 Career Connect
Scholarship recipient and the official announcement of CCYP’s 2018 Giving Circle Grant recipients.
New this year, CCYP will acknowledge those who donate their time and resources to CCYP with a
series of special volunteer and supporter awards.
Attendees are encouraged to register in advance through the CCYP website at
www.capecodyoungprofessionals.org. Admission for CCYP members is $35 per person, and nonmember
admission is $45. Day-of registration will be available, space permitting. Registration,
breakfast, and networking begin at 7:30 a.m., and the event program starts at 8:00 a.m.
