Community Health Center Named Among Top National Health Centers

Of the more than 1,300 federally qualified health centers nationwide, Community Health Center of Cape Cod, located in Mashpee, has been listed in the Top 10 percent for Best Overall Clinical Care by HRSA, the Health Resource Service Administration, for the second consecutive year.

The Health Center has also received awards in the areas of: Clinical Quality Improver, Access Enhancer, Health Disparities Reducer, Advancing Health IT for Quality, and
Patient Centered Medical Home Recognition.

“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic our staff have been working to continue our team approach to patient health,” said Dr. Kristy Brown, Associate Medical Director for Quality Improvement. “We’ve been utilizing multiple means of communication to stay on top of patients and health needs and offer services and/or appointments they may need in the future, today. By taking this approach we can mitigate lapses in patients and health care maintenance due to the pandemic and offer a better, safer, clinical experience.”

HRSA’s Quality Improvement Awards  recognize the highest performing health centers nationwide as well as the health centers that have made significant quality improvement gains from the previous year.
