The Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod has announced that they are searching for their first Executive Director. The Board run organization has been in existence since 1991 and has been managed at times by a part time Program Coordinator, and then completely by the Board since 2012.
CLI runs the Leadership Cape Cod program on a yearly basis. Over the past 26 years this program has over 650 graduates who have gone on to lead many companies, non- profits, and serve on the boards of other organizations throughout the Cape & Islands.
“The decision to bring on an Executive Director in a part time capacity will allow the organization to pursue further ways to work with Alumni, Local Leadership and Future Leaders to strengthen our community,” said Board Vice President Marty Bruemmel.
The new Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors. She/he will provide strategic leadership and direction to fulfill CLI’s objectives, improve and expand programs, and ensure the organization’s financial viability and growth. The Executive Director plays a key role in supporting, creating and implementing program initiatives to ensure organizational success and the fulfillment of its vision and potential.
The successful candidate is an enthusiastic and successful leader with proven management skills and expertise in the nonprofit sector. For complete job description, please see attached. To Apply, please send cover letter, and resume to CLICapeCodCareers@gmail.com.
