Diabetes Education Center at YMCA Cape Cod redesigned

Brown Lindquist Fenuccio & Raber Architects Inc. have been a part of the YMCA’s expanded WENY Diabetes Resource Center, which was dedicated with a formal ribbon cutting on Thursday, June 30. The new center provides a user-friendly experience with a more open and publicly visible location at the public entry lobby. The resource center includes a resource library, personal assistance, educational workshops, monitoring, caregiver assistance, and diet and nutrition consultation. Richard Fenuccio served as the Project Architect and Paula Drury was the interior designer of this bright new space. Roger Ludwig, a trustee with the WENY Charitable Trust was present at the dedication to cut the official ribbon to reopen the center. Weny Charitable Trust, which contributed $1 million to the expansion of the YMCA of Cape Cod 10 years ago, funded the relocation and renovation of the diabetes resource center with a gift of $100,000.
