E.J. Jaxtimer Announces 4th Annual Charter Cup Fishing Tournament

E.J. Jaxtimer  Builder’s fourth annual Charter Cup Fishing Tournament, which benefits several area nonprofits, will be held as scheduled Wednesday, July 15, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This year’s charities include Cape Abilities, Chromosome 18, May Institute, WellStrong, Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, Housing Assistance Corporation of Cape Cod, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands, Yarmouth Police Foundation, Joslin Diabetes Center, the Cape and Island Veterans Outreach Center and Angel Flight NE.

The Charter Cup Fishing Tournament is an invitation-only, one-day event, made up of local businesses and charter fishing boats that have teamed up to raise funds for 11 local nonprofits with 100 percent of funds going directly to the nonprofits involved.

The tournament will operate with possible restrictions due to the COVID-19 situation, but the company is fully committed to raising funds for all the charities involved.

“In the end, every little bit helps!” said E.J. Jaxtimer.

Donations can be made via checks made payable to the nonprofit of choice (listed above).
