EAT South Shore Offers Updates on Restaurants, Breweries

EAT South Shore, in partnership with the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, is providing updated information regarding regional restaurants and breweries on outdoor dining, take-out, options for food, gift cards and more @EATSOUTHSHORE on facebook and instagram and at www.eastsouthshore.com as they begin the process of reopening for dining.

The site will be sharing updates on reopening for their member restaurants and breweries. The list of restaurants offering outdoor dining, take-out, curbside pick-up or delivery will be updated as information is received and is subject to change. There will be some specific requirements involved in the staged reopening including the wearing of masks and possible time limits per table.

More than 42 restaurants have been offering food options including some family style pick-up meals and daily meal specials. In addition, local breweries have options for can sales.

EAT South Shore provides a platform to bring awareness of the many outstanding dining establishments in the South Shore region.  Its goal is to promote the existing culinary scene, offer a support system for both established and new restaurant owners, and to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship within the industry.

The EAT South Shore website provides visitors with detailed information about member restaurants to help diners make an informed decision; the website presently features restaurants from Quincy to Plymouth.

“The restaurant business is challenging in the best of times and COVID-19 has really hurt these local businesses,” said Peter Forman, president of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. “As they continue to adjust and reopen slowly and safely we hope that you will support their efforts and continue to enjoy our excellent restaurant scene.”
