Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll), the nation’s foremost ‘inclusive’ entrepreneurship program, announced the expansion of its program to the Cape.
Early stage entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply to participate in a one night Pitch Contest. This is like the TV show Shark Tank, but without the teeth! It’s a great opportunity to get feedback for an idea from the community as well as the chance at some cash prizes, up to $1,000. EforAll Cape Cod’s first Pitch Contest will be held on Thursday August 23 at Cape Space in Hyannis from 6pm to 8pm!
EforAll also offers an Accelerator Program which is a year long program that takes place twice a year with the first three months being intensive.  Entrepreneurs that get accepted into the program have unrivaled access to industry experts, mentor teams, tailored curriculum, and an opportunity to win cash prizes – all for free. The EforAll Accelerator Program will run this fall from October 2018  through December 2018 and another following in the Spring. Applications to both can be found on eforall.org .
This program is offered to entrepreneurs without charge due to the support of individual and major donors, grants, and strategic partnerships. Mike Fitzgerald, Founder of Commonwealth Capital Ventures, is leading the fundraising effort to bring EforAll to the Cape. He said, “I first got involved as mentor. The Cape is uniquely poised to be a leader in engaging our residents in a new and creative way that also makes a positive impact on the local economy all year long.”
Christin Marshall will be the Executive Director of EforAll Cape Cod. Christin is a 2017 graduate of EforAll’s South Coast Accelerator Program where she founded Camp Timeout, a summer camp experience for grownups. Prior to joining EforAll, Christin was a Program Coordinator with the Barnstable County AmeriCorps Cape Cod and received her MBA from UMass Dartmouth.
EforAll Cape Cod is actively seeking entrepreneurs, specialists, and mentors. For more information about EforAll Cape Cod reach out to Christin Marshall, Executive Director at christin@eforall.org or visit eforall.org/ma/cape-cod.

EforAll Cape Cod is the organization’s fifth site in MA, following successful launches in Lowell, Lawrence, New Bedford, Fall River and Lynn.  In 2015, EforAll launched its program in Spanish, Emprendimiento para Todos (EparaTodos), the first program in the nation geared to help Spanish speaking entrepreneurs to overcome the opportunity gap.  The organization’s 254 alumni have created 431 new jobs, generated $9.9M in annual revenues, and raised $11.4M in capital. About 83% of all EforAll entrepreneurs are still in business since the program started in 2013.
Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) – EforAll EforAll believes that the best way to revitalize mid- sized U.S. cities that have fallen into decline, and suffer related high rates of poverty and unemployment, is to fuel the dreams and ambitions of entrepreneurs who live in and near these cities. We believe that they understand their city and its problems better than anyone else and have ideas and solutions with the potential to make their city prosper once again while they create their own pathway out of poverty. www.eforall.org
