Elevate Counseling Services promotes Berthiaume

Elevate Counseling Services  (https://www.elevate-counseling.com), a practice serving clients in South Easton, Middleboro and Bellingham, has promoted Joshua Berthiaume to the position of associate director of the practice’s Telehealth Division.

In this role, he will oversee the entire Telehealth Division, a new department that founder and CEO Leigh-Ann Larson established this year. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the region earlier this year, Elevate Counseling Services converted their method of delivering counseling services to online, following stringent protocols that provide secure connections and assure patient/therapist privacy. In addition to overseeing the Telehealth Division, he maintains a caseload of 30 clients a week.

The practice’s nearly 1000 clients have been successfully migrated to an online platform, and the option for online counseling will continue for those who prefer even after the COVID restrictions are lifted.

Berthiaume is a native Southeastern Massachusetts and earned his M.Ed. with a specialty in Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State University. He joined Elevate Counseling Services in 2019 as a clinical therapist.
