Rogers & Gray Insurance has announced the hiring of Erin Schaaf as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer.
“We are thrilled to have Erin join the Rogers & Gray team,” said David Robinson, President & CEO Rogers & Gray. “Her diverse experience in both independent agencies and insurance companies will help lead Rogers & Gray to new levels. “
Schaaf brings nearly three decades of experience in the insurance industry to the post. Most recently, she served at Arbella Mutual, where she held various leadership roles in personal lines products, underwriting and fraud detection. Prior to joining Rogers & Gray, she served as Assistant Vice President Personal Lines Product, helping to set strategy for Massachusetts and Connecticut.
“I have been fortunate to always work in great places with extraordinary teams,” said Schaaf. “I always knew that at some point I would return to an agency because I enjoy being close to customers, building relationships, and the feeling of being part of a team that earns customers’ trust and protects them. The Rogers & Gray culture fits me well and feels like home already.”
Schaaf received a BS in Mathematics at Bridgewater State University and a Masters of Science in Insurance Management from Boston University. She also holds a CPCU Designation (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and volunteers with Father Bill’s and Main Spring homeless shelter.
