Five Named Cape Cod Real Estate Specialists

The Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® has launched a new designation to distinguish its members who have demonstrated and gained specific knowledge and expertise in the Cape Cod real estate market – the Cape Cod Real Estate Specialist Designation. CCIAOR members will achieve this designation through a set curriculum of classes and experiences that provide deep insight into Cape Cod real estate and training on being a professional in the real estate industry.

The first recipients include Annie Blatz and Martha Knapp of Kinlin Grover Real Estate; Jeffrey Clonts of The Cape House Team at William Raveis Real Estate; Doug Grattan of Chatham Properties Group; and Paul Rooney of Cape Cod Oceanview Real Estate.

“This designation is important to distinguish those who are committed to advancing their craft and demonstrating real knowledge of the Cape Cod real estate market, which is a unique market from other areas of Massachusetts,” said CCIAOR CEO Ryan Castle. “We are thrilled to have five of our members complete the designation so soon after we launched it, especially during such a challenging time. We expect hundreds more to achieve this designation over time to really elevate themselves with extensive knowledge and experience in the Cape Cod market.”

In order to be eligible for the CCRES Designation, REALTORS® must have at least three years in good standing as a Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS and Multiple Listing Service member, and must have a sustained record of local production. Once achieved, members must continue to meet educational and production standards to maintain the title of a Cape Cod Real Estate Specialist.
