Four Tapped For Cape Symphony & Conservatory Board Of Trustees

The Cape Symphony & Conservatory has named four new members of the Board of Trustees for the 2021-2022 year.

South Orleans resident Ellen A. Dickinson continues as board chair, with Christian Valle of Falmouth serving as vice chair. Steven Heslinga of Centerville remains treasurer and Teresa Egan of Cotuit is secretary of the 23-member board.

 The new members are:

  • Jill Beardsley of Brewster, director of Community Support Associates, a community-based program providing residential, case management, vocational, recreational, and outreach services to adults with disabilities and the elderly on Cape Cod.
  • John Damon of Barnstable, aU.S. Navy veteran whose professional career included investment management, charitable and estate planning, and business/tax consulting.  
  • Gianna Jonas of West Yarmouth,program director at Community Systems, Inc. of Plymouth.
  • Jamie Selldorff of Chatham, a  CPA whose work experience includes Campbell Soup Company in New Jersey and Sara Lee in Chicago, Ill. 

Former Cape Symphony board member Jacqueline deRuyter of Brewster has returned to the board. The Cape Symphony thanked outgoing members board chair Liz Dunning and Bob Schofield for their vital longtime service and dedication to the organization.
