Asset Management Resources, LLC has announced that J. Christopher “Chris” Boyd, founder and chief investment officer of Asset Management Resources, was elected to the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) Advisory Council Executive Committee.
The Financial Planning Association is the principal professional organization for Certified Financial Planner professionals, providing its 24,000 members with resources for professional education, advocacy and community.
Boyd is also the delegate of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts One FPA Advisory Council and a former chairman of FPA Massachusetts.
Boyd was awarded his Certified Financial Planner credential in 2004, and has earned the Chartered Advisor for Senior Living professional designation from the American College, BrynMawr, Penn. He has owned Asset Management Resources since its inception as a Registered Investment Advisor firm in 2008. He also hosts a weekly financial radio talk show, “Something More” on WXTK Radio and is a frequent public speaker. He is a past president of the local chapter of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts, a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cape Cod and serves on the Cape & Islands Workforce Development Board.
