Gallery 31 Donates Painting to Orleans Chamber Of Commerce

ORLEANS –When the Orleans Chamber of Commerce’s annual event, “Breakfast with Mrs. Claus” was canceled in December, due to the pandemic, Gallery 31 Fine Art and Brewster artist Paula David decided to donate David’s new oil painting, Seaside Santa in Orleans,” to the chamber to celebrate events past and provide hope for future festivities.

Gallery 31 is preparing for its 22nd year in Orleans and Paula and I are delighted to give back to the community during this difficult year,” said Gallery 31 owner Sherry Rhyno. “We want to show special support to the Orleans Chamber — with thanks! We’re all missing our holiday traditions and Paula’s painting beautifully reminds us of shared memories.”

Orleans Chamber executive director Noelle Pina said, “The Pancake Breakfast with Mrs. Claus is one of our favorite events. It’s touching to see how delighted children are to meet Mrs. Claus and watch Santa boat into the Orleans Yacht Club. This painting is a wonderful celebration of an Orleans tradition.”

David and her husband have owned a second home in Orleans and Brewster for nearly 20 years. They became full-time residents in May when David retired from a long and successful career as a marketing executive in financial services and higher education to pursue her art full time.
