Wendy Northcross, CEO of the Cape Cod Chamber announced, that Chanell Jatkola recently joined the Chamber in August of 2018 as part of the membership team. Chanell will be supporting the Chamber’s 1293 members as liaison for member services.
Growing up on Cape Cod, Chanell graduated from Barnstable High School and went on to earn a BS in Public Communication from Northeastern University. Following college, Chanell has worked in the areas of marketing and meeting planning while residing in Atlanta, GA and then as the Marketing and Events Coordinator for the Barnstable Senior Center and Community Services Assistant for the Town of Barnstable.
Most recently, Chanell served as the Student Activities and Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator at Cheshire Academy where she was responsible for the strategic leadership of all student weekend activities, campus events and diversity initiatives to enhance the overall student experience at Cheshire Academy.
Chanell currently resides in West Yarmouth with her husband Ross, son E.J. and a baby boy due in November 2018.
