The public is invited to the virtual EforAll Cape Cod Showcase & Celebration Thursday, June 4, at 6 p.m., via Zoom to honor the entrepreneurs who have spent the last three months in the EforAll Cape Cod Business Accelerator Program receiving intensive business training and meeting weekly with a team of three volunteer mentors.
Example businesses launching include an eco-friendly Frisbee manufacturer, a lettering artist specializing in custom signage and menu boards, a health and wellness coach, a high-end consignment store, and a home care agency.  The common thread in each of the businesses is that they are moving from an idea stage or early stage to business launch.
The keynote speaker for the black-tie optional event is Amy Dufault, a former journalist who is now a business consultant focusing on sustainability, human rights and regional supply chains. She will speak about how to get ready to accelerate a business in a different future than what businesses were operating in two months ago, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Startups now need to find a way to be of service,” she says. “With this comes a challenge to see business in a new and exciting way and how startups will handle this will be the ultimate boot camp determining their future.”
In addition to DuFault’s keynote address, graduates will showcase their new ventures in virtual breakout sessions and EforAll Cape Cod will also award seed money to several of the graduating entrepreneurs to help them launch their businesses in the community. Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to be awarded up to $10,000.
