Nantucket Chamber of Commerce announces new Director of Marketing

The Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce has announced its new Director of Marketing, Arlene O’Reilly, who assumed the organization’s lead marketing role on November 20th.
O’Reilly, a wash-a-shore, had made Nantucket her full time home since 1992. She attended St. John’s University in Queens, NY, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Design, and also attended Syracuse University obtaining her Master’s Degree in Communications and Branding.  O’Reilly has run her own marketing agency working with select clients, for over 25 years.
“I am honored to be working with the Chamber”, said O’Reilly. “I have had the privilage of working with many island businesses over the years, as well as corporations off island. My love for Nantucket, combined with my experience is a wonderful opportunity for me to serve the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce, as well as its members. ”
“Arlene is a perfect fit for our team at the Chamber office.” said David Martin, new Chamber Executive Director. “She has the complete professional marketing experience to help us reach our goals in taking the chamber to the next level. Her skills range from digitial marketing, print, web and mulitmedia production, design, technology, to diplomacy, innovatation, organization, multi-tasking, and she has a great sense of humor.”
O’Reilly will be introduced to attendees at the Chamber’s December Business After Hours at the Island Kitchen.
