On December 14, 2017, Nauset Disposal had the pleasure of donating funds to two local organizations. President of Nauset Disposal, Shawn DeLude, presented a check for $10,000 to Barbara Milligan, Executive Director of the Cape & Islands United Way. That same day, Nauset Disposal also presented Deb McGee, Development Director of the Center for Coastal Studies, with a check for $7,500. These donations were a result of proceeds from Nauset Disposal’s annual fundraiser, Trash Bash, which was held on October 20th in Orleans and raised funds for five local nonprofits.
“Nauset Disposal remains steadfastly committed to the community in which we live and work, and consider that commitment to the Cape Cod community – and the environment – top priorities,” Shawn DeLude stated. In 2017, Nauset Disposal donated over $115,000 to Cape Cod nonprofit organizations, fundraisers and events, with the majority of charitable giving going towards organizations that focus on basic needs, children’s services, veteran’s services and the environment.
