Nauset Disposal plans community fundraiser for October 20

Nauset Disposal’s annual fundraiser, Trash Bash, is planned for Friday, October 20. The event will be held at Nauset Disposal, 3 Rayber Road in Orleans, from 5:30 to 11:00PM. The 2017 beneficiaries are Cape Cod Cares for the Troops, Cape & Islands United Way, Center for Coastal Studies, Community Development Partnership and Wild Care Cape Cod. Non-perishable food donations to the Lower Cape Outreach Council and/or children’s new or gently used clothing donations for Katelynn’s Closet are also encouraged at the event.
Tickets purchased online before October 10 are only $20 per person. Tickets after that date can be purchased online or at the door for $25 per person. Each ticket includes entrance to the event, dinner, drink tickets and live music with The Grab Brothers Band. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event and some of the prizes include a North Conway Getaway generously donated by Red Jacket Resorts, a Cape Cod Dining Basket including gift certificates donated by many local restaurants, a Lower Cape Escape package which includes a night stay at the Four Points Sheraton and dinner for two at a local restaurant, as well as a Business Package with items donated from Simple Signs Cape Cod, New England Reprographics and CapeSpace.
