Nauset Disposal will host its annual community fundraiser, Trash Bash, on Friday, October 12. The event will be held at Nauset Disposal, 3 Rayber Road, in Orleans. Proceeds from this event will benefit several local non-profit organizations: Cape Cod Cares for the Troops, Cape Cod Child Development, Cape & Islands United Way, Center for Coastal Studies, Community Development Partnership, WE CAN and Wild Care Cape Cod. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations, benefiting the Lower Cape Outreach Council.
Trash Bash will begin at 5:30PM and features live music with the Grab Brothers, dinner, beer and wine, door prizes, a photo booth and more. Tickets purchased prior to October 5 are $25 each and are available online at www.nausetdisposal.com/trashbash2017/. After October 6, tickets will increase to $30 each, available online or at the door. Admission includes food and drink tickets, as well as an opportunity to win one of ten high value door prizes. Door prizes include a Cape Cod Dining Basket full of gift cards to local restaurants, an overnight in Boston at the luxury boutique hotel, XV Beacon, a full day boat rental donated by Nauset Marine, roundtrip tickets to Nantucket donated by Cape Air, a VIP Party Package at Ten Pin Eatery, and other unique items.
Owner of Nauset Disposal, Shawn DeLude, said “I’d like to thank so many customers, sponsors and supporters of Nauset Disposal and our annual Trash Bash. What started 19 years ago as a thank you to our Nauset Disposal customers with a bonfire, BBQ and a one man band has certainly come a long way. We take our commitment to the community very seriously and look forward to the support we can offer by raising funds for local programs. I often hear from people that the Trash Bash is their favorite event of the year and we look forward to seeing everyone and having a fun and successful evening with all our friends.”
This event would not be possible without the generous support and participation of many local businesses.
