NeighborWorks® Housing Solutions, a housing service provider in southeastern Massachusetts, held its 21st annual Mulligan Golf Tournament at Brookmeadow Country Club in Canton on Friday, July 31 and raised nearly $77,000. Proceeds will go directly to the NHS programs and services that support veterans, and specifically those who have been financially impacted by COVID-19.

The event was attended by approximately 140 golfers, all of whom practiced social distancing and wore their specially made “Mulligan Masks” in honor of the tournament.  The day concluded with a brief luncheon sponsored by North Easton Savings Bank and awards presentation.  The tournament was customized to adhere to CDC and Massachusetts state COVID-19 guidelines.

Dellbrook JKS, a leading construction management company based in Quincy served as the Presenting “Ace” Sponsor, and has been a long-time partner and supporter of NHS.

“We are proud to partner with NHS and support the Mulligan Tournament,” said Michael Fish, president and CEO of Dellbrook JKS.  “The work they do for veterans and ensuring that veterans have access to housing in our community is critical.”

NHS also received support from NEI, The Narrow Gate Architecture, and Klein Horning LLP, all of whom committed to the tournament as Sweet Spot Sponsors.  NHS also celebrated Community Sponsors United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley and Wells Fargo.

“We are thrilled that we have been able to pull together our Mulligan Golf Tournament, which has become an annual tradition at NHS and among our supporters.  This year is especially meaningful because we have seen how this pandemic has affected the most vulnerable in our communities and in particular, veterans.  I am grateful to our friends and supporters who helped us raise significant resources in support of our veterans,” said Robert Corley, CEO of NeighborWorks Housing Solutions.  “Events like our Mulligan Golf Tournament not only help us continue to provide services and supports to veterans in our community, but also helps to raise awareness of the challenges they face, especially during this time.   We are truly grateful for the generosity of our sponsors, and our participants, who helped to make our tournament a success.”
