The Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands invites nominations for its 2018 Distinguished Service to Philanthropy Awards which will be presented at the 22nd Annual Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod, October 30 at The Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis. Nominations can be submitted online at capecodphilanthropy.org
Each year, this prestigious high profile conference attracts more than 500 professional fundraisers, executive directors, board members, and volunteers across the region. Outstanding community members are recognized in four categories: Philanthropist, Business/Organization, Volunteer and Youth.
“The Cape and Islands would not be the resilient, beautiful community we know and love without the dedication and support of philanthropists, volunteers, businesses and our young people. We encourage everyone in the community to take a moment to nominate individuals and businesses that have significantly contributed to making our region great,” said Barbara Cotton, committee chair, Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod.
The Distinguished Service to Philanthropy Awards are given each year. Last year’s recipients included Philanthropist Blanche Seifer, Wequassett Resort, Volunteer Ellen Dickinson, and Youth recipients and twin brothers Alec and Evan Abramson.
Nomination deadline is Friday September 14. Nominators are encouraged to collaborate in submitting joint nominations for awardees for the following criteria:
