Cape Cod, MA—The Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center (CIVOC) is happy to collaborate with Cape Cod Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo’s for a special fundraiser on September 3rd.
On September 3rd, CIVOC will receive 20% of all qualifying sales from any order as a donation. But there’s a key detail: customers need to mention CIVOC, for us to receive the donation from the sale. They can either walk in and mention CIVOC, call for delivery and mention CIVOC, or use code 19 for online orders.
CIVOC is a tax-deductible, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It was founded in 1983 by a group of Vietnam Veterans who needed help finding the services and programs they needed to successfully transition back to their communities anywhere in our region. Ever since then, we have been an indispensable veteran services provider across the region. Building on the legacy that our founders 40 years ago, we offer multiple comprehensive support services that empower veterans to achieve independence with dignity and respect, including 13 monthly food pantries across Cape Cod and on Martha’s Vineyard, a new Food Distribution Center, transportation service for veterans, professional counseling, and transitional housing.
