Peabody Properties’ 840 County Named Community of Excellence

Peabody Properties’ 840 County in Taunton,  formerly known as Taunton Woods, has received a Communities of Excellence Award in the small community category from Massachusetts Apartment Association (MAA).

840 CountyThe award recognizes excellence and celebrates the best in property management, based on service to residents, to the community and in financial performance.

840 County was built in 1987 and is comprised of 120 apartments surrounded by a nature preserve. It features landscaped grounds, a clubhouse, outdoor pool and numerous recreational activities for residents.

840 County was named an award winner in part due to its positive impact on the local community, most recently by partnering with the Taunton Public School Department to ensure students receive meals and necessary supplies to support remote learning during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
