The Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has announced its new Executive Director, Amy Naples
The Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Naples, as Executive Director effective immediately. The Board’s action comes with the fullest confidence that Naples will continue to be an excellent steward of the Chamber’s mission and a leader and advocate for our communities. The Board recognizes that Naples is a leader who, with over a decade of experience at the Chamber, is the right person to pursue its members’ interests and support community initiatives.
Naples has served the Chamber for the past twelve years in several various roles, last including Chief Operating Officer. She brings her knowledge of the chamber programs, event planning and membership management experience to our leadership role. In her tenure, she has developed and/or coordinated hundreds of successful new programs and business initiatives, managed and executed Chamber events, represented the Chamber at various meetings with local government staff and agencies, and helped on several key initiatives important to the members of the Chamber and the business community.
Board of Directors Chairman, Tony Baldwin adds, “The board is excited to have Amy as the Executive Director of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce. We are confident in her abilities to lead the Chamber and its membership of 750. The board of directors unanimously selected Naples as the chamber’s new leader and believes her energy and talent will continue the great momentum underway to serve our members and promote our communities.”
Naples says of her new position, “I am honored and excited to be the next Executive Director for the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce and the opportunity to continue working with our outstanding membership, committees and legislative leaders who allow us to continue our mission. The Chamber’s work is vital to the region’s business community and I look forward to work with our Board of Directors to strengthen our partnerships and create new initiatives to accommodate the needs of our members and the communities we serve.”
The mission of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit, private organization, which provides; a forum and resources for business people to experience individual and collective growth, business education and legislative advocacy that will ultimately result in cohesive regional success.
