Plymouth Rotary Auction bidding open online, goes live on TV March 16

The online bidding for the 23rd annual Plymouth Rotary Club Auction is open. To participate, community members can go online to www.plymouthrotaryauction.com to view more than 400 auction items, create an account and place bids in advance of the live auction.
This year’s live auction will air on television Friday, March 16, from 6-9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, March 17 and 18, from noon to 9 p.m., or until sold out for the day. It will also live stream online at www.plymouthrotaryauction.com. For the live auction, call 774-773-3174 to place your bid.
Auction items of interest include: Red Sox Tickets, Celtics Tickets, South Africa Photo Safari For Two,
Ice Cream Sundae Cruise For 50 People, Gym Membership, 1-hour On-Air DJ on WATD 95.9, Artwork, Estate Plans, Auto Detailing, Dining Gift Certificates, Golf and Summer Camps. Plus many more options!
One-hundred percent of every dollar received from bidders goes to local charities. Last year, the auction brought in more than $50,000 for the community.
Former recipients of the auction revenue include: Greater Plymouth Food Warehouse, Pilgrim Hall Museum, Manomet Youth Center, Spire Center, Kingston Library, Horses for Heroes, Jones River Restoration Project, Relay for Life, Plymouth Education Foundation, Clean Water Initiatives, The Plymouth YMCA – Camp Clark, Scholarships for area college students, International Student Exchange Programs, End Polio Now, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, and Shelter Box USA.
The auction will air on Community Access TV Channels: PACTV (Comcast Channel 13, Verizon Channel 43) for Plymouth, Kingston, Duxbury & Pembroke; MCTV (Comcast Channel 13, Verizon Channel 34) for Marshfield; Area 58 Community Access Media (Comcast Channel 13) for Carver, Halifax, & Plympton.
The auction items were generously donated by local businesses and individuals who wanted to do their part to help the community.
