Read Custom Soils Names Northern New England Representative

WAREHAM — Jeffrey Toomey of Exeter, N.H., has been named Northern New England sales
representative for the Read Custom Soils (RCS) Division of the A.D. Makepeace Company.

Toomey, 51, joined the RCS team in 2018 as a part-time sales representative for the northern
New England region responsible for introducing the company’s soil solutions to the area.

For the past 25 years, Toomey has owned and operated Toomey Landscape in Exeter, N.H., providing
professional landscape design and installation services to residential and commercial clients. Toomey holds an associate’s degree from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from UMass Amherst.

Toomey plays an active role in the industry as a member of the New Hampshire Landscape
Association, Maine Landscape and Nurseryman Association, Vermont Golf Course
Superintendents Association, Maine Recreation and Park Association, New Hampshire
Recreation and Parks Association and the Vermont Nursery and Landscape Association.
