Road to Responsibility To Host Enhanced Virtual ‘Making Lives Better’ Gala

Road to Responsibility (http://roadtoresponsibility.org), a nonprofit organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will host its 33rd annual “Making Lives Better” Gala Thursday, Sep. 23.

This year the annual mission driven event will be in the form of an enhanced virtual experience complete with a live band, a mixologist, upscale refreshments, raffle prizes, a mobile bidding auction and more.

“As these times remain a bit uncertain, we want to deliver the best experience possible for our donors, sponsors and supporters with an enhanced virtual event,” said Christopher White, CEO of Road to Responsibility.

Hosted by meteorologist Michael Page, the gala will kick off at 6:30 p.m. and run through 8 p.m. Tiered ticket levels will offer custom packages delivered directly to front doors by Road to Responsibility staff, allowing attendees to enjoy the event from the comfort of their homes.

RTR is partnering with many local vendors and businesses as a way to make this year’s gala extra special and to recognize regional commerce for their support over the decades.

Sponsors include Xerox Business Solutions, Apothecare, VHS Transportation/Patriot Investment Corp. and The Parsons & Benoit Family.

Tickets are available through Sept. 14 and can be purchased by visiting https://roadtoresponsibility.ejoinme.org/2021. All registered attendees will receive a Zoom link via email on Sept. 23.
