Rockland Trust appoints Richard Kane as First VP for Falmouth and Martha’s Vineyard

Edgartown and Falmouth, Mass (March 24, 2017) – Rockland Trust announced today the appointment of Richard Kane to First Vice President and Lending Center Manager for Falmouth and Martha’s Vineyard. With over eighteen years of banking experience, he will lead Rockland’s commercial lending activities on the Island and in the Falmouth market. With offices in Edgartown and Falmouth, he will focus on developing commercial lending opportunities and supporting clients in accomplishing their business goals.

Most recently, Rich was Senior Credit Officer at Martha’s Vineyard Savings Bank, where he managed commercial loan portfolios, advised on commercial credit risk and supervised various aspects of regulatory compliance. Prior to Martha’s Vineyard Savings Bank, Rich served as a Credit Officer at Webster Financial Corporation and a Loan Review Manager at First International Bancorp.
Rich is a member of the Risk Management Association. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Ithaca College and is a graduate of the Prochnow Institute Graduate School of Banking at University of Wisconsin.
