They received the Silver Ranking for agencies in the Northeast and was the only Massachusetts firm on the list. The complete list names a Gold, Silver and Bronze winner in five geographical regions, as well as one overall winner.
Insurance Journal compiled the list using information gained from employee nominations. Employees of the best businesses highlighted the importance of competitive salaries, employee benefits, training and education, resources, and other perks as drivers of satisfaction in the workplace. The survey also took into account relationships, culture, charitable giving, community reputation, generosity of owners, and work-life balance. Many of the employees said they feel like family in their agencies.
