Rogers & Gray Insurance Agency will host a free seminar titled #MeToo Movement – Sexual Harassment in the Workplace on Wednesday, March 21 from 8:30 AM – 10 AM. The seminar is designed for HR professionals and business owners as they navigate the very topical and important issue of sexual harassment in workplaces.
Attorney Jenifer Pinkham, Partner with Schlossberg LLC of Braintree, will present the talk. The discussion will focus on Employer Liability pertaining to sexual harassment both inside and outside the workplace. Ms. Pinkham will offer strategic guidance on how to handle harassment complaints – from reporting to investigation to remedial action.
Ms. Pinkham advises privately owned, closely held, family owned and non-profit businesses on employment related matters, including hiring, wage issues, FMLA, employee classification, discrimination and termination. She is a frequent lecturer and speaker on various employment law topics. She also is hired to conduct training sessions for businesses to instruct owners and their staff how to handle various employment law issues in the workplace. Her areas of expertise include employment law, civil, business and probate litigation, probate administration, including guardianships and conservatorships, special education advocacy and appeals, and intellectual property, including licenses, trademarks and copyright.
