Ryan’s, a name synonymous with family fun, has opened its first Ryan’s Family Entertainment Center in Plymouth.  The new attraction is located on the waterfront at 136 Water Street.
The 2,7000 square-foot center features 35 of the most popular arcade, video and skills games, as well as a prize counter.  The game options range from nostalgic favorites like Pac-Man to recent releases like Ice’s “Bag Toss”, providing entertainment for kids and parents, alike.  The center will be open from 9 AM – 10 PM daily
Ryan’s will celebrate the Grand Opening on Friday, August 3rd.  A ribbon cutting ceremony, attended by members of the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce and town officials, will take place at 11 AM.  To commemorate the occasion, Ryan’s representatives will present gift cards totaling $1000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Plymouth.  The cards will be distributed among the club’s members to enjoy with friends and family.
Throughout the day on August 3rd, all visitors to Ryan’s will all receive game cards pre-loaded with 400 points, a nod towards Plymouth’s upcoming 400th anniversary.  Popcorn and refreshments will also be served.
“We’re thrilled to be open and to be part of Plymouth’s vibrant and historic downtown,” said Michael Crowley, Ryan’s General Manager. “We look forward to welcoming kids of all ages, from all parts of the world, throughout the summer and beyond.  And we’re especially happy to help support the local Boys and Girls Club with this donation.”
This becomes the 10th location for Ryan’s, which operates bowling alleys and games rooms across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, along with a new 25,000 square foot entertainment complex at Cape Cod Mall called Ten Pin Eatery. The other locations include bowling centers in Buzzard’s Bay, Falmouth, Millis, Raynham and South Yarmouth.  Game rooms, similar to what will open in Plymouth, are located in Newport, RI and Oak Bluffs, Ma.
