A new year issues in new leadership at The Sandwich Chamber of Commerce. Teri Stanley took the helm as Executive Director on December 18, 2017, after a unanimous decision by its Board of Directors.
“Ms. Stanley was the clear front runner,” stated Joe Arnao of Destination Realty at William Raveis, “bringing a breadth of knowledge and experience from her 8-year tenure at the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber. The Sandwich Chamber membership is excited to work with her to continue our mission of promoting the wealth and well-being of Sandwich and its business community.”
She’s more than ready for the challenge, says Stanley. “I’ve completed three years of a four-year program geared specifically toward the management and growth of chambers of commerce, associations and non-profits. I’m armed with best practices, great ideas, and an international-wide network of like-minded professionals. All of this will transition perfectly with the Sandwich Chamber.” Stanley is on target to graduate Institute of Organizational Management in August, 2018.
Among her top priorities at the Sandwich Chamber is showcasing its new Welcome Center (520 Route 130, just off Route 6 Exit 2) which provides tourism information as well as housing the chamber business offices, building and strengthening its member base, and expanding its promotion of the Sandwich business community.
