Emerging Leaders Graduates, Lender Awards, Leland Goldberg Founder of VETRN Honored
The SBA Massachusetts District Office on Thursday, November 9th held the 2017 Annual Meeting at Hult International Business School in Cambridge to highlight successes and wrap-up federal fiscal year ‘17.
“Public Service is OUR Business. The Massachusetts SBA team and our partner network continue to work in overdrive to help our small businesses to start, grow and thrive. We are proud to serve all of you here in the Commonwealth,” said Robert H. Nelson, District Director.
As part of the program – the Emerging Leaders/E200 program graduated its 10th cohort since starting in Boston as a pilot project.  C-level executives received specialized training on financing and access to capital, government contracting, customized mentoring, and the completion of a three-year strategic growth action plan.
Leland Goldberg, Founder of VETRN received the District Director’s Award for his service in building an entrepreneurship program tailored to the needs of the veteran community.
2017 Lender Awards recognized the productivity of the SBA lender network and highlighted high impact categories that led to the success of the Massachusetts district office again ranked at the top of 68 district offices across the country.
Emerging Leaders/E200 Program Graduates:
Haitao Yian – Antigen Targeting & Consulting Service is dedicated to providing top-quality custom-based services in analyzing ANTIGENS, as well as an R&D entity in developing therapeutic candidates based on modern immunology and oriental traditional medicine.
Jessica Sweeney – CF Technologies, Inc. develops innovative critical fluid processes and products to meet and exceed their customer’s technical and economic needs.
Kevin Bynoe – United Housing Management is a company for professional management services. They work closely with the owners and residents to focus on the long-term success of their properties.
Brian Bishop – New England Pack & Ship, a family owned business, is the go-to resource for packing, shipping, and the small move needs of the residents and businesses of Needham and throughout New England.
Kim Nguyen – Millennium Nail Salon is located in Brookline. Customers visit for gel extensions and other services, like mani-pedis or polish changes.
Janet Peguero – All Time Service, Inc. provides commercial, residential, and green cleaning to some of the top institutions, corporate offices, schools, and commercial properties, in Boston and throughout Massachusetts.
Katherine Fisher – Great Sky Solar is much more than just another generic solar installer! They are a local, worker-owned cooperative. That means every member of their team, as co-owners, has a vested interest in providing the best possible experience for the costumer.
Matthew Coulstring – Triangle Engineering, Inc. is in its fourth generation of family ownership.  TEI continues to remain an industry leader in the manufacture of weld coupons for performance qualification and carries a complete line of procedure test materials covering all welding codes.
Ken Mahmud – Triton Systems Inc. is a global product venturing and investment company creating product-driven enterprises through a proven and proprietary stage-gate “Venture-through-Invention”-process.
Deb Shechter – BEE International is a worldwide supplier of high pressure homogenizers for the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, cosmetic and food industries.
Margaret Randall – North East Form Engineering Inc. manufactures industrial tungsten, carbide precision, custom made cutting tools and carbide boring bars.
