Shea’s YBA is a youth development program that utilizes volunteers to provide free programs including basketball leagues, mentoring services, and community outreach projects that educate participants on the importance of camaraderie, responsibility, teamwork, sacrifice, and respect for self and others.
Founder, Jonah Shea, established the program in 2012 to provide a safe and structured environment for youth aged 11-17. Board Chair Ron Winner says, “Jonah created something that has brought such positive impact to kids in our community. I speak for the entire board when I say we are honored to work with Jonah to continue his dream of growing these programs so more kids have the opportunity to participate.”
Shea has appointed the following board of directors to sustain his mission to provide quality athletic, social and mentorship programs to at risk youth populations.
