Mashpee, MA: Cape Cod Coffee, a local wholesale coffee roaster with cafe and restaurant locations in Mashpee and Hyannis, officially announced the construction of their new roasting facility on Main Street, Mashpee. The official groundbreaking of the almost 10,000 square foot roasting facility took place on October 17th. The project is slated for completion in the Spring of 2020, the same year Cape Cod Coffee will celebrate its 50th year as a family owned and operated business.
Cape Cod Coffee has been a fixture on Cape Cod since 1986. The new roasting facility will have a larger manufacturing and production area with the addition of a second coffee roaster. The new facility will have a larger cafe and retail area, with a full indoor/outdoor bar with sixteen local beers on tap. A new kitchen will provide fresh baked goods daily, as well as a pizza oven for hand-made pizzas. The grounds will include numerous outdoor seating areas with fire pits, outdoor activities and a pavilion perfect for events.
Cape Cod Coffee is a coffee roaster based in Mashpee. They provide wholesale coffee to local coffee shops, cafes, hotels, resorts and businesses and service the community with retail and restaurant locations in Mashpee and Hyannis. They believe in giving back to the community and last year worked with local charities to to help raise over $1.5 million dollars. All of their coffee is Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance certified and grown organically without the use of pesticides. Great coffee is their passion!
