The SouthCoast Community Foundation welcomed five new members to its board of directors and corporators during its annual meeting July 7. It also bid farewell to departing members.
The new board members are:
Damōn Chaplin, Public Health Director for the City of New Bedford; Gail M. Fortes, Executive Director of the YWCA Southeastern Massachusetts; Jayne Rebello Korn, a talent management consultant and executive coach; Denise Porche´, Executive Director of the Island Foundation; and Jonathan L. Rounds, a retired financial manager and founder of RISC Ventures and Cloud Technology Partners.
The foundation also recognized outgoing board members William “Bill” R. Eccles, Jr. and Gerry Kavanaugh for their many contributions.
