Steamship Authority opens new Woods Hole Ticket Office

The Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority has moved its Woods Hole ticket selling operations to a new building, as part of the terminal reconstruction project.
The new Woods Hole Ticket Office, which opened Monday, Dec. 4, houses a ticket-selling office, terminal and assistant terminal managers’ offices, a lobby, public restrooms, a concession area, and data and communications equipment. Ticket selling operations will remain within this building until a new terminal is constructed on the Woods Hole property later in the terminal reconstruction project.
The new ticket office, built by Triumph Modular Inc. of Littleton, Mass., and located adjacent to Railroad Avenue, is a 3,600-square-foot, single story modular building sided in a vinyl wrap replicating the Vineyard Sound nautical chart.
The waiting area in the existing terminal building will be open as an additional waiting area for customers until the middle of January 2018.
