This summer, The Cape Cod Foundation will host its seventh annual Non-Event, a no frills, no fuss, no-attendance-required fundraiser that supports its civic leadership and philanthropic work across Cape Cod.
“This cost-effective fundraiser gives donors the opportunity to support the Foundation without the obligation of attending an actual event. They simply buy tickets to our pretend party—and never show up!” said Kristin O’Malley the Foundation’s president and CEO.
O’Malley said the event also gives the organization a chance to share high-level initiatives and achievements with supporters.
“Our ongoing work supports nonprofit programs and capacity-building initiatives, nonprofit education and leadership development opportunities, partnerships with broad regional impact, and projects that bring vital, shared resources to Cape Cod’s nonprofit community,” O’Malley said. “Since 2020, we also raised $3,082,177 and distributed $2,265,644 to nonprofit organizations providing pandemic relief to residents experiencing unprecedented need.”
