The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod in partnership with the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce is launching “Twenty-Minute Tuesdays” – a monthly online Q&A video series that will give local businesses and non-profit organizations access to the bank’s expert team.
The online video series will begin Nov. 17 and be released on rotating Tuesdays each month. The series will be pre-recorded and moderated in a question-and-answer format, featuring bank experts addressing questions on the topic of the month.
The inaugural Twenty Minute Tuesday will focus on the Small Business Association’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Forgiveness process and feature The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod’s Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Banking Officer, Peter Rice, and Senior Vice President Chief Credit Officer, James Quitadamo, answering questions on how to best navigate the process. Each Q&A session, which will be prerecorded, can be viewed on the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce landing page http://bit.ly/20MinuteTuesdays.
Local business owners or representatives of non-profit organizations who would like to submit questions in advance can be done via the chamber’s landing page.
“For many small businesses who received a PPP loan, at the top of their list of questions has been: what is latest on calculating loan forgiveness and what are the prospects for those businesses who received PPP funds of less than $150,000 getting total forgiveness? These and other related questions will be addressed in the first forum,” said Lisa Oliver, Bank Chair, President and CEO.
Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce CEO Wendy Northcross said Twenty Minute Tuesdays will focus on questions pertinent to the unique aspects of Cape Cod’s economy and will provide insights on how local businesses and non-profit organizations can navigate the challenges of operating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other topics slated to be the future focus of Twenty Minute Tuesday include:
